latina doctorLISTA and the National Latino Alliance on Health Information Technology has developed strong community alliance throughout the country with  HIT Regional Extension Centers, as well as, government agencies such as Department of Labor, Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC), HHS Office of Minority Health (OMH), Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA), Agency for Research & Quality (AHRQ) and many others to address health disparities and Health IT adoption our Community.

Latino HIT Ambassador Program is intended to develop a community relationship in order to promote the advancement of HIT in the Latino Community. The Latino HIT Initiative is excited to work with first adaptor primary care physicians and seasoned Health IT professionals who can help their colleagues in  their  adoption of Health information technology in the Latino Community.

 

Ambassador  Benefits:

  • Complimentary acknowledgement in appropriate materials.
  • Picture and Bio on Latino HIT website.
  • Complimentary logo placement on National Latino Alliance on Health Information Technology web site and documentation.
  • Event promotions in your community and assistance speaking to physicians while introducing new technology concepts to your community. 

Ambassador Expectations:

  • Reach out to at least 50 primary care physicians and dentists in a year.
  • Host one Latino HIT Imitative event yearly to discuss The State of HIT Adoption in your community.
  • Promote your Ambassador relationship with LISTA by sending out LISTA National HIT Blog posts to your network of PCP and to your community.  
  • Add Latino Health Initiative events to your calendar of events
  • Have National Latino Alliance on HIT logo on your site  website
  • Provide your organization logo file in EPS, JPEG or TIF format at 300 dpi
  • Provide a picture and bio to display on Latino HIT Website
