Special events have been a hallmark of LISTA’s success, and with NLA-HIT, we plan to continue the tradition of connecting Latino professionals, community leaders, and executives who share the common goal of empowering the Latino community. NLA-HIT will host executive luncheons, training workshops, and seminars that maximize the benefits of HIT for Latinos across the country in a spectrum of fields.
Through multi-media presentations, seminars, and workshops with influential speakers and first adaptors, medical professionals and technology professionals will discover how ARRA programs will affect them in the near future and best practices for integrating healthcare information technology in their offices now.
Our workshops will teach what constitutes “meaningful use” so that our doctors are able to take advantage of the annual incentive established in the bill, and will be presented with options that maximize the ROI of these funds.
